I know so many people who are between 72-85 who are workaholics and just don’t have any hobbies and work is their life. Their spouses force them to go on vacation 2-3 times a year but that’s it. They do seem genuinely happy. Then we have the people who are forced retired and die within weeks of retiring.
It still blows my mind that if you max out your Roth IRA at $7,500 a year starting at 25, you’ll have roughly $2.3 million by age 60, completely tax-free.
