@Skate_a_book Absolutely! Just because the battery will last 500,000 miles doesn’t mean it will be in ideal condition. Both of mine had lost around 20% soon after 100,000 miles. It’s still a great car, but I’d much rather be stuck with 80% of 500 vs 80% of 300.

We created this problem where doom and drama are more engaging and profitable than anything else. I’m not sure how we fix this as a species.

@dictionaryhill Exactly. Put them in good places. But also pull through design like gas pumps so they can accommodate anything including towing. The gas pumps accommodate everything. Cars fill on different sides, trucks with trailers, toys on the trailer etc.

@dictionaryhill I think every time ev’s are designed different (read : weird) it slows adoption.
It’s like all these companies who designed their ev’s to stand out instead of making ev’s look similar to their best selling cars. Then they claim nobody likes ev’s 🙄

@dictionaryhill I think the issue is the difference in chargers vs gas pumps. Why did they not design gas pumps as regular parking spots? Why didn’t we go straight to pull through gas station style chargers?
Kinda seems like gas trucks should fill from the front lol

@LimitingThe Sort of depends. On long trips it can simply be too many stops. Sure each one is only 15 minutes of planned right, but it’s a lot!
