Arrived at the General Store after backpacking out appx. 7 miles. Cold drinks, ice creams and a giant pickle!

6/30 Some of the tweets are just now going through so they may be a little out of order. Anyway, yesterday was our last night before backpacking out. We arrived at Jennie lake. It was beautiful. Definitely a lot less bugs than anywhere else we camped. We had an amazing devotional

6/26 Sat. - The hike was a struggle for some, but all made it back in good spirits and we enjoyed our last real meal at Lake Hume before we start eating only backpacking food.

Left Crystal Springs Campground. Left our cars at Big Meadow Trailhead and began backpacking with our packs at their fullest and heaviest. We got to Weaver Lake about 3.7 miles but only averaging a mile an hour. The thin air at 8500 Ft. made it hard for some with lungs burning.

We are camping at 9000 feet. This is the last night before base camp tomorrow. We hike out and get back to the cars And non-freeze dried food!

Just arrived at Jennie Lake! All of the boys are doing well. Most already have tents set up. Some are swimming in the lake. Others Building a fire ring
