A highlight from #AHA23 – presenting our work on the risk stratification of ventricular arrhythmia. Grateful for the chance to be part of the collective effort advancing cardiovascular research. #WIC#CardioTwitter
Check out our latest publication in HeartRhythm! 📰 We explored the connection between myocardial fat and ventricular arrhythmias in patients with ischemic and non-ischemic cardiomyopathy. Join us in uncovering new insights in cardiac health!🫀 #CardioTwitter@hopkinsheart

And there you have it! We showed that inFAT in infarcted hearts plays a major role in #VTin3D arrhythmogenesis by slowing conduction in critical VT sites. This means that #ablateVT for post-infarct VTs should be focused primarily on these areas with inFAT. Thanks for reading!
