@ron_fournier@JoeBiden 'Step aside' and then what? The first part is simple, but what is the plan for a better result than him staying in? A contentious convention? We saw Carter/Kennedy and it was a catastrophic loser. Quickly vetting a new VP candidate? Remember Eagleton/Shriver?
@JonBakerPharmD@CliffordAsness@kylegriffin1 Yes, I agree with you, he is very experienced. But, presidents are definitely term limited by the 22nd Amendment. And, term limits was the topic of this thread, not experience or career choices.
@MikeLevin Very courageous of you to kneecap our candidate, the primary winner, with 115 das to go. You say who you DON'T want as candidate, but don't offer a plan to win. So poorly conceived I can't imagine why someone would vote for you in the future.
@allinwithchris@chrislhayes Where is the 'good faith' for elections? We just concluded a series of primary elections and Biden won. But you appear to want to invalidate THAT election.
@DeanBaker13 We're not giving our awards, why are conducting a presidential race, including holding primaries. I like to respect the vote. How about you?
@DeanBaker13 Then they should have voted against him in the primary. I voted for him and he WON; are you suggesting your, or any other pundit's political instinct worth more than all of our votes?
@McFaul@POTUS They naturally say that with his Foreign Relations tenure, but I'm awfully impressed by 4% unemployment, the first serious infrastructure plans in 40+ years, and bringing critical industries, like chips, back to our country. Those domestic accomplishments are not too shabby.
@RonBrownstein Bill Parcels said it best, "you are what your record says you are", when asked about injuries. The pandemic on Trump's watch wasn't only 'bad luck', he made it dramatically worse. When he left office Americans were hiding in their homes and the economy was in free-fall.
Roger Federerโs Commencement Address at Dartmouth yesterday might be the best speech heโs ever given.
Amazingly articulate, funny, full of wisdom. Made me laugh and tear up. Iโm so very proud to have had him as my idol for the past two decades.
