I did a thing yesterday and upgraded to the iPhone 16PM for the iPhone 13PM. Got 3 years out of the 13 pro max and now I’ll get 3 years probably out of this one tbh. Really liking the 16PM it’s definitely an upgrade from the 13PM. The camera system is honestly amazing.
Spent a few hours yesterday doing cable management in the old pc from my grandma. the PSU is really the only blight inside this machine. Everything thing else is managed properly I’m going to get some different sata cables and a different PSU. For a cleaner look.
@Eviltrkeyslice Finally got you the specs of it after a few days. CPU is a i3 3240, MB is a MSI H61M-P31/W8, memory is 12gb ddr3 at 1600mhz, storage isn’t here but it will have a 500gb SSD, ODD is a multi dvd cd rw drive, PSU is a HP OEM HiPro from 2005 and the case is the winsis wn47.
This machine could use some upgrades eventually to be a good windows 7 era rig. But it’s going to need some serious maintenance for that mainly the PSU being replaced and a new SSD.
New video soon I got my grandmas old PC. It left it’s service life on 4/29. When the ssd went bad. Now it’s in the collection for the rest of its life. It needs a few parts to be useful again.
Spent the last few hours cleaning and doing cable management in the old PC from my grandma. I made it look as good as I could inside. Cleaned it up as best as I could to make it nice. Took a bout 45 minutes for the cable management but the end result is the best it can be.
@Eviltrkeyslice The case is pretty good on this one. I’m thinking about putting the i5 3470 or i7 3770 in it. That and a GPU and it would be pretty confident for the games of the era.

I upgraded the cooling system finally and it’s running cooler already that’s for certain. Re used the old 80mm fan as an intake just waiting in a splitter for the fans to arrive for that part to be beefed up. Next is the power supply and GPU.
3/ during my process of picking the PSU I’m torn between getting the SF750 from Corsair or the Lian Li SP750 series SFX PSU. I’m also torn on the GPU RTX 3060 or 4060. Either is a huge improvement over my aging GTX 1660 super.
1/ Might try and modify the G5 5000 with a better power supply than Dell offers for it. I found a 24pin to Dell 6pin that works with the chassis. The idea is to have my friend do the cutting of the case to fit it inside the chassis. Along with cutting me a new window on the side.
2/ the plan for the cuts is simple. For the PSU area it’s going to be extended to fit a SFF PSU. The side panel will be a basic window shape. Behind it will be mounted a piece of acrylic glass with RGB LEDs mounted around the case. Top sides and bottom area.
5/ both parts have been ordered. Should have them rather soon the cooling system upgrade is halfway done. Now I just need to get the fans for the front end of the system and the cooling system is completely done.
1/ I upgraded the boot drive of the dell G5 today. It has a whole TB of NVMe storage. Next problem I have to rectify is the memory. I’ll be taking it from 16GB to 32GB of memory in the afternoon tomorrow. Since I have to pick it up at Walmart in the morning.
4/ Ive ordered a new tower cooler with copper pipes. And will be ordering VRM cooler. For about $40 bringing the total of the upgrades to $148.76. Still a few more parts to go on the upgrades to the tower.
