And finally, let's test this interface card. It's a little anemic in that it only has FDD and IDE HDD support, no serial or parallel. But it works! Here is a little boot up ASMR for you!

As I head home, I reflect on how grateful I am to all who put on the show, and how great it was to see so many old friends & make new ones. Thanks for putting up with my onslaught of posts, I hope it helped some people experience #VCFSW from afar. I raise my glass to all of you!

I picked up this parallel to IDE CD-ROM thing off of the free table at VCFSW. I got it to work!! Let's talk about it in a quick 🧵

This was amazing fun. I guess this means that if I wanted a CD-ROM drive to use with my 386 or 486 laptops, I now have one!! Anyway, thanks for following along.

I did tweak config files slightly, but on reboot, we are in business! This was too easy!!
