This has been happening for some time, far longer than the introduction of AI-assisted development.

I know this because every engineer has been incentivized to build new APIs rather than reuse what is already available.

They are incentivized to build new than to adopt an API that is nearly the same but missing a few fields that they could add in the schema easily.

AI is just making it more apparent now

You've gotta patch your dependencies super fast because they're full of vulns (PHP, Node, eMudhra, etc), but not _too_ fast because they're full of backdoors (LiteLLM). Good luck!

@MikeTango22202 I had that even on closing day. Should have listened to the part of me that said don't do it. Lost years and loads of money on it. I knew better but ignored my rational thinking for "but, the land is so pretty". Ditched it last year and moved on

I don't disagree that dress could be better in many churches including the one I call my church home. But that is no reason to have a separation of leaders vs congregation either.

Based upon Romans 12, I am not to hold myself above any one else (nor should the pastor/teacher) or separate ourselves in that way. We are one body in Christ, not separated by title or dress but rather unified in Christ - each contributing to the local body and the overall global church body with their gifts. That includes pastor/teachers (or equivalent titles):
