Was standing in the shade in on the upper level of Port Discover at #TokyoDisneySea and heard a familiar EPCOT melody. Caught the tail-end on this video. Any guesses?
It was my first time catching the #TokyoDisneySea Maritime Band. They played a medley of songs representing different attractions at the various “Ports of Call” at the park.
They sounded great under the “Passagio MiraCoasta” / Mediterranean Harbour entrance.
@worldparks365@dxwwf3 I remember in 2018 whenever we heard or saw anyone sounding American we felt compelled to chat with them because there were so few of us around.
Coming back from my trip to TDR last week, I felt at times, I heard more people speaking US/Canadian english around us than Japanese.
There is even a magical elevator. An element I don’t recall seeing in my last visit.
They had special merchandise commemorating their 25th anniversary 🥳
During our visit to #TokyoDisney Resort we stopped at the Disney Store at IKSPIARI.
This one is themed to 1920s/30s Hollywood Premier. And has been remodeled since its opening in 2000. But the Art Deco spirit lives on.
Of course I visited the Disney Store in Shibuya, Tokyo.
This store opened in 1992 with themed floors or areas filled with assorted merchandise and Shibuya Store location exclusives.
