@ManyATrueNerd Just wait! You also get to dig through the library of a heretic monastery and interview the leaders of a parallel culture that has their own mythologized versions of the same events, because Morrowind is actually the best thing ever!
@ManyATrueNerd If you successfully cast a spell and that spell hits the enemy, it will apply its effect. Spells do not have a hit chance like weapon attacks.
With that said, some enemies do have spell resistance or spell reflect, for a %reduction in effect or %chance to reflect, respectively.
@PaweSasko Noah Caldwell-Gervais did a video essay on why some quests worked and others didn't. Many of the quests in the game are at odds with the main quest's theme that becoming the king of heisters isn't worth it. What's more, 95% of the side quests play out the same for all characters.
@ManyATrueNerd If you ever play Witcher 3, you'll be pleasantly surprised. No depiction of actual genitals, but you see basically everything else. And not just in sex scenes! People are nude when bathing, you have topless courtesans, and so on. Nudity starts to feel natural because IRL, it is.
The original Bioshock, definitely. There's the confrontation the game's been building up for the entire game, the emotional payoff, the climax! You meet Andrew Ryan! Would you kindly! A man chooses, a slave obeys!
And then you faff about for another five hours with Fontaine.
