Glad we're all pro-democracy and pro-ballot access now.

Where can candidates send their invoices for expenses incurred fighting petition challenges two years ago?
@Suntimes Good article. But "Some speculated that the CTU was behind many of those objections in 2024, but it's often difficult to tell exactly who is behind an objection" isn't accurate. Here's the proof that Dave Stieber of CTU was a 2024 petition challenger.

Graham: so something is about to come out about me…
Ro: more Nazi stuff?
Graham: no it’s-
Ro: because I already told you I’m good with that
Graham: it’s an affair thing
Ro: …
Graham: I cheated on my wife
Ro: with a Nazi?
Graham: no it’s not all nazi stuff
Ro: shame
Graham: so anyway, can you tweet a vague statement of support
Ro: yeah I guess
Graham: thanks a lot
Ro: I really would have preferred if it was more Nazi stuff.
Graham: next time
Last night, 11 board members let down 8300 students and their families. There was no valid reason put forth by the 11 members-led by @kjzaccor-that could justify this action. This was a dereliction of their duty.
Prominent democratic donor and CTU foil Michael Sacks claps back at letter from Stacy Davis Gates - sending one back calling it "the most transparently disingenuous outreach I've ever seen." Context: CTU and a Sacks-funded group are going toe to toe on $$ in school board races.
Leading tonight’s comedy routine is this letter from Stacy Davis Gates to the CTU House of Delegates.
She raised teachers’ dues to spend $10 million on school board and mayoral elections, then asked any opposing funders to walk away.
The jokes write themselves 😂
CTU is proposing a *flat* rate dues structure. The same structure as IL’s state income tax that CTU has claimed is unfair and has been lobbying to change for years. 🙄
Powerful clip by @billmaher. It’s an eight minute segment which I urge you to watch, but I chose this section because I know most people won’t watch the whole thing and this was the end. But I want to add one comment to what he said because it’s not just “how people are talking about Jews.” It’s the actual violence that is happening like last week in Brooklyn. It needs to be stopped. Antizionism is Antisemitism. Thank you Bill for your moral clarity. It really shouldn’t be this hard.
Disgusting. Also cowardly. Attacking Jewish journalists for actions taken by world leaders one doesn’t approve of allows these bigots to let the powerful off the hook while running toward a prejudice that is in vogue.
This was truly a disgrace and a waste of taxpayer dollars. An attempt to intimidate sources and an attack on journalists. Harden should focus on making sure the district is serving its children and their families instead of going off on a tangent against the news media.
A few dozen parents and educators are outside Sip and Savor at 53rd and Hyde Park Blvd for a “parent take over” in response to a “teen takeover” that’s been rumored to be happening in the neighborhood later. Most of these people are wearing shirts from Kenwood Academy.
