⚠️ Whitbourne RCMP urges the public to use extreme caution on the Trans Canada Highway between Ocean Pond and Long Harbour. The area is experiencing extremely slippery conditions with very low visibility. Whiteout conditions and ice are creating hazardous travel conditions.

Please consider delaying any immediate travel until later in the morning if possible. If you must travel, please exercise extreme caution, leave extra space between you and other vehicles and drive according to road and weather conditions.

Remember — snow means slow! 🌨️
