Infections are on their way up again in Switzerland. Let's hope the new restrictions will slow this down https://t.co/ncuzRdVVmk @CoronaEnglish#ourworldindata
@pguich@CoronaEnglish This site is a tremendous help in comparing statistics across countries with various normalization factors. If you browse around you can find comparison of death rates as well. Would definitely recommend :) https://t.co/ncuzRdVVmk
@8gennaio@CoronaEnglish@MeWellCommunity While they cater their events to the academic community, I'm quite certain that they are open to the public :). I'd send a DM to make sure. I think they also have a newsletter you can sign up to
@CoronaEnglish@MeWellCommunity They've hosted a series of free virtual events during the covid time - esp focused on mental health workshops to combat stress around covid times. However, their work tends to be a bit general. I think they try to cater their events to academia as a first cause.
@CoronaEnglish Should add another category including 'had symptoms, but don't know'. As evidenced in earlier responses, and from my friends group, many people (esp in first wave) probably got it, but don't know - either because they didn't go to testing, or testing wasn't widely available.
