Charles Oludare says the FBI's position on the Tinubu records should be viewed alongside the wider investigation, the protection of its methods and agents, and the publicly available details of the 1993 financial case.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
With gratitude to Almighty Allah for His guidance, protection and blessings, I hereby formally declare my campaign for the 2027 House of Representatives election open.
Unfortunately, Atiku Abubakar is using economic populism to take the country backward. If you go back to subsidy, you are going to hit the oil and gas sector really hard and in a negative manner. Your Dangote Refinery IPO doesnโt happen, the Dangote Refinery operation will not happen, and no investor is going to invest in the refinery

Today, at the directive of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the Federal Ministry of Finance, Information, Budget and Economic Planning held a press conference to engage Nigerians on some of the most important questions around the recent economic reforms.
We addressed the issues citizens are rightly asking about: fuel subsidy removal, foreign exchange reforms, rising government revenues, public debt, external reserves, the use of public resources, cost of living and poverty, infrastructure and public services, and what improving macroeconomic indicators ultimately mean for the average Nigerian.
Economic reforms are not an end in themselves. The goal is to build a more stable and productive economy that creates jobs, supports businesses, attracts investment and, ultimately, improves the living standards of all Nigerians.
We recognise that the transition has been difficult for many households. We also believe that citizens deserve clear explanations of the choices made, where the gains from the reforms are going, what results are emerging, and what remains to be done.
The conversation is anchored on facts, transparency and accountability. Please visit https://t.co/DoO6AB0i4z to engage with this scorecard in details, good faith and with an open mind.
Thank you for believing in our country despite the imperfections. Together we will build the Nigeria of our dreams.
#SustainingStability. #AcceleratingGrowth. #ImprovingLives.
Fellow Nigerians,
When we began this journey of reform in 2023, I promised that the difficult decisions we were making would serve the purpose of building an economy that works better for you and a country that is stronger for our children.
Today, your government presents The Reforms Scorecard. It sets out what our reforms have achieved, what they have cost us, and the greater costs and harms we have prevented by acting when we did.
I have therefore directed the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Taiwo Oyedele @taiwoyedele, to give an account to Nigerians, to explain the numbers, the choices we have made, the progress recorded, and the work that remains.
You deserve to see the numbers. You deserve to know what has changed and what these reforms mean for you, your family, your business and our country.
This is your government.
This is your country.
This is our account to you.

We're proud to announce that Ben MacWilliams has joined Terra Industries as our VP of Strategy.
Ben previously led Starlink's market access for Africa at SpaceX, taking the service live in over 20 countries through direct engagement with presidents, regulators, and ministers.
I flew Air Peace with my friends and family to attend my mother's 90th birthday, and for an 8:30 AM flight, they left the jetway at exactly 8:30 AM. Their precision timing was impressive. The plane was immaculate. And the service was excellent.
But I have an issue. The crew was foreign. I spoke to them, and they were Spanish. I have nothing against them. They were the definition of professionalism.
But why would a Nigerian carrier, flying the Nigerian flag, have a foreign crew? I find it hard to believe that there are no competent Nigerians to fly and crew Air Peace's flights.
We cannot export badly needed jobs by bringing in Europeans to do a job in Nigeria that Nigerians are eminently qualified for.
Other than that, my experience on Air Peace was superb, and if they engage an all-Nigerian crew, I will not only fly them as often as I can, but I will also recommend and promote Air Peace.

Nigeriaโs maritime sector has achieved a major milestone: the United States Coast Guard has lifted the 12-year Condition of Entry imposed on vessels arriving in the U.S. from Nigeria.
This is a strong affirmation of the progress we have made in strengthening maritime security and implementing the ISPS Code across our ports and facilities.
I commend our agencies and stakeholders for their sustained collaboration. This achievement will enhance port competitiveness, improve vessel turnaround and schedule reliability, reduce costs and strengthen Nigeriaโs position in the global maritime economy.
We will sustain this momentum and ensure Nigeria remains a safe, secure and competitive destination for international shipping.

The re-election of Governor Ademola Adeleke in the just-concluded Osun election is a fitting assurance that democracy will continue to flourish in our country under the All Progressives Congress administration.
I called Governor Ademola Adeleke @AAdeleke_01 earlier today to congratulate him on his election victory in Osun State. His victory once again confirmed the confidence the people of Osun State have in him.
I wish him great success as he prepares to lead the state for the next four years. Now that he has won, Governor Adeleke must unite the people of Osun State and rally them for growth, stability, and social and economic progress, regardless of the political choices they made at the election.
I salute the courage and discipline displayed by other contestants in the election. Their participation deepened and enriched our countryโs democratic culture. The outcome of the election reflects the will of the people and is a fitting assurance that democracy will continue to flourish in our land.
I must also commend the Independent National Electoral Commission and the security agencies for conducting a peaceful and transparent election that produced a clear winner.
May our democracy continue to thrive and be strengthened
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
