Du liest richtig. Tausend Euro mehr verdient. Weniger im Portemonnaie.

Und jetzt der Teil, der wirklich weh tut: Bei 2.000 Euro brutto stehen dieser Familie etwa 2.350 Euro zur Verfügung.

Bei 5.000 Euro brutto sind es 2.650 Euro.

3.000 Euro mehr erarbeiten. 300 Euro mehr haben.

Das ist kein Rechenfehler. Jeder zusätzlich verdiente Euro zieht Wohngeld, Kinderzuschlag und Freibeträge mit sich in den Abgrund, während Steuern und Sozialabgaben gleichzeitig steigen.

Man nennt es Transferentzugsrate. Ökonomen kennen das Problem seit Jahren. Die Bundesregierung hat Gutachten dazu bestellt.

Passiert ist nichts.

Und dann wundert sich die Politik, warum niemand mehr die Stunden aufstockt. Warum die Zweitverdienerin in Teilzeit bleibt. Warum der Facharbeiter die Beförderung ablehnt.

Die Leute sind nicht faul. Sie rechnen.

Ein System, das Anstrengung und Fleiß nicht belohnt, bekommt am Ende genau das: keine Anstrengung.

‼️ BREAKING: xAI's Grok Build CLI was uploading entire Git repositories to a Google Cloud bucket, private codebases and unredacted secrets included. The uploads quietly stopped via a hidden server-side flag, and xAI still has not said a word about scope, retention, or deletion.

The scale is staggering. On a 12 GB test repo, 5.1 GB flew out the door to xAI's grok-code-session-traces bucket while the actual coding task needed just 192 KB. The tool grabbed whatever repository it ran in, not the files it needed.

The fix arrived as a hidden flag, disable_codebase_upload: true, a day after a researcher's wire-level analysis. The "Improve the model" opt-out never stopped the uploads.

Still no advisory, no scope, no word on whether already-uploaded code gets deleted. For anyone pointing AI coding agents at proprietary code, what crosses the wire matters more than what the settings page says.

🇪🇺 The EU just passed Chat Control 1.0 in Brussels.

Platforms can now scan your private messages again, officially "voluntary," in practice blanket surveillance.

Here's the democratic scandal: 314 MEPs voted against it. Only 276 voted for it.

It passed anyway... because an absolute majority of all MEPs was required to reject it, not just a majority of those present.

More people voted no than yes. It still passed.

Pushed through on an urgent procedure just before summer recess, when absences are highest and attention is lowest.

This is how rights disappear folks. Not in one dramatic moment, but in procedural fine print, on a slow news day, while everyone's looking at Tehran.

The way they passed this law when the majority of the European Parliament was against it will shock you:

They waited until most EP members were on holiday so only a few were present and then created an "urgent" vote for it to pass it through

There's nothing democratic about any of it and big powerful forces are behind this that can manipulate the EU for whatever they want

Da reibt man sich als Abgeordneter ungläubig die Augen: Eigentlich war die Chat-Kontrolle vom Tisch. Doch kurz vor der Sommerpause – während alle die Badeutensilien packen und auf die Fußball-WM schielen – schiebt die Parlamentspräsidentin das Thema klammheimlich wieder auf die Agenda. Natürlich unter anderem Namen. Heute wird also abgestimmt, ob das Ganze am Donnerstag zur Abstimmung kommt. Realsatire pur.
Und tatsächlich: Das Dringlichkeitsverfahren wird angenommen – am Donnerstag wird nun in der Sache selbst entschieden, das Manöver ist aufgegangen. Unglaublich!
