@esherifftv I'm 42, had social anxiety since my early teens, I have almost no social life & find it difficult to enjoy company. I feel like I don't have enough time or energy. I'm not sure I could show a kid how to enjoy life, they might end up like me. My partner also doesn't want kids.
@Zimtok5 I've got a few USB power meters that do the same thing. They are cheap and can be used with any charger. One interesting use was comparing my quest 2 power draw when plugged into USB 3.0 A port vs USB C port (A port couldn't supply enough current to keep it charged while in use)
@nathie Quest 3 because it should be more mainstream, have better support and be cheaper than Quest Pro. Although I don't know if Quest 3 counts as 'upcoming' as it's probably still a long way off.

@VRGameRankings I got the c to c 5m cable from this link and it works great plugged into my gpu. Keeps it charged while playing too, which my A to C cable didn't.

@RtoVR@MSFSofficial You say "SteamVR" but the MSFS update says OpenXR headsets. Is that the same thing or can OpenXR compatible headsets be used without SteamVR?
@Zimtok5@OculusSupport Do a teardown? The closest thing to a teardown I could find is this: https://t.co/6KEQSa2glC
But it doesn't show how to initially get it apart. Looks like it might be adhesive/tape + clips holding the inside back cover on.
@Zimtok5@OculusSupport That's worrying. It's good to know to keep an eye on them but like you've said, it looks like the strap needs to be disassembled to reinstall or tighten them!
@vr_oasis Storm as in lots of people suddenly adopting vr? I doubt it, I think it'll just continue to grow at the pace it is. Quest 2 will no doubt help, but even if it has varifocal displays and blows all other headsets out of the water (I can hope), it's not going to go mainstream yet.
@holotape@MSFSofficial you're lucky, you must be in one of Bing maps photogrammetry areas. There's no 3d buildings/photogrammetry for the whole of New Zealand (where I live) on Bing and hence MSFS. Still, the satellite images and AI generated buildings should be better than other sims I've tried.
@benz145 The bit where they start talking about recording and monitoring is hilarious as they're trying to make it sound good, but it's exactly what the privacy advocates say we should be worried about. Personally I'm not worried, I think Facebook is trying to do the right thing.
