@dominucco@wespayne@ChrisLAS@wirecutter I have my entire mac dev team kitted out with dell ultrasharp u3421we .. they are pretty affordable and versatile in terms of connectivity.. only 60hz though so not something you game on when not coding
@IronicBadger "Just setup Nextcloud" is a phrase being thrown around a lot in self hosting, but I actually don't find it that easy to set up. Not to a degree where I trust it. With Hub4 out, it would be nice with a proper guide, as Nextcloud can serve as a backbone for the rest of your homelab
@IronicBadger@roonlabs I really wanted Volumio to be the solution, but its been quite unreliable lately.. and they promote a lot integrations that's actually powered by community plugins. The spotify integration has been in a buggy limbo for the past 6 months.. can't really blame volunteers for that
@dominucco@rustlang @jeremy_soller Just normal operation really.. typing commands and the rendering of the output would be missing or looking weird..had a lot of work to do at the time, so I was like F* this I'm going back to iTerm
@dominucco They regularly have sales.. think I paid $390 for mine.. but that was before supply chain issues went all mad.. so it wasn't the hefty $549 as advertised now

@dominucco My debate was: am I gonna spend decent money on a few chairs just to realize I should have I should have got the good one from the beginning? Probably! already dropping good money on mech keyboard, mac, monitors and servers. Why am I gonna sit on a cheap ass amazon/ikea chair?
