Instead of sponsoring big events (like Coachella)... the founder would simply attend (without officially sponsoring)...
And bring stickers.
Next, he'd post the stickers everywhere... like ticket checkpoints and bathroom areas.
And then he'd tip the employees to not remove the stickers. Smart.
