Meet Reactive Rex (NgRex to his friends). He speaks fluent TypeScript, shreds guitar solos, and considers @angular his BFF. His state management library of choice is @ngrx_io. 🤖🎸
@DanWahlin Way to go Wahlins! You're an inspiration to parents like me. It's not easy juggling kids with any profession. Pause. Take a breath. Then another. Breathe. Some lessons you've shared with me that helped me with my parenting and even work skills!
My chapter at OpenSauced has closed, and I'm looking for my next role! If your team needs someone who knows @Angular/@NxDevtools/@nextjs/ Open Source, please reach out!
Open to contract work also 🤝
In the meantime, I'll be working on @AnalogJS and @ngrx_io 🥰
New things are coming 🔥

🅰️Angular folks,
Some Signals vs Observables info...
1. Use signals for state management, not observables.
2. Use observables for cancellation and other event coordination.
3. DO NOT TRY TO USE SIGNALS LIKE RXJS. It's a bad/silly idea.
They are complimentary technologies.

@AlexOkrushko I can't imagine my old school being bombed out. The violence against Ukraine people is unforgivable. May they get justice and safety soon.
Kharkiv continues to suffer. Once beautiful city where I grew up it has endured a lot of damage. My school got destroyed in one of the bombings. Most of my friends had to leave the city.
This is painful to watch.
A lot of smart folks have been working on this proposal to bring native signals to JavaScript.
…Also I’ve been helping the smart people.
Have a look.

In Angular now you can get references to components and HTML elements as Signals ✨
