@oJaison Typically it is just to talk to someone. One of my friends is in the social work filed and she lives alone. The stress of her days, trying to get in contact with parents to talk about their children and trying not to worry about them, she likes to talk to destress. #leadupchat

A6) I am grateful for my family and friends. With everything closing down, I moved back in with my parents during this time and it has been a blessing to have all of this family time and being with them. ❤️ #leadupchat

A5) Timing out my day. I still have some classes that I need to complete but I am not letting them consume me since I have endless time. Taking daily walks (not when it's snowing) with my dogs helps me relax. #leadupchat

A4) Simply looking at Facebook and seeing all of the positive pictures that people are posting. Another thing: Zoom meetings with ones that can give you that support that you need! #leadupchat

A1) The feeling that I was never able to say goodbye to my kids and that I more than likely will not be in the same building as them next year...#leadupchat

A2) I do not have access to students and their files, since I was student teaching with them. My mentor teacher was able to send me their addresses. Wrote them all individual letters! We also have weekly zoom meetings that they can attend where we just talk. #leadupchat

@idacavagec I had a letter come back from a student, after I wrote to them, and it was so cute. Also written on the note from the parent/guardian was that the student was so happy that I wrote to them that they cried when they were reading my letter. ❤️ #leadupchat

@PrincipalSmart Absolutely, I can remember walking them out on our day we were closing. So many hugs and saying that they couldn't wait to see me when the school reopens. I did write them all letters last week and got some responses so that was something that was amazing! #leadupchat

@AHrechko What we did was we gave them as many online resources as we could on such a short notice for our state and we had a half day that day..We also gave them as many handouts from previous lessons as we could without overwhelming them.

A1) Currently doing well, still mixed emotions as to what is going on. Our VL is not going so well with our students because a lot of them are limited with what technological tools they have at home. We left on terms with our students that were pretty emotional. #2ndchat

A4) Now that I know more about what a Genius hour is, maybe having a block of time when students can post their findings so that their classmates can go on it and post their thoughts on it? Just a thought :) #2ndchat
