Sources claim to Iran’s Fars News Agency that the United Arab Emirates was involved in what was like retaliatory U.S. strikes just now, but these reports are not backed by credible evidence.
According to Saudi news outlet Al Hadath, the U.S. has suspended security cooperation and dollar shipments to Iraq. While no definite reasoning for the move has been announced, the Iraqi government has struggled with the appointment of a “consensus candidate,” as they try to balance both the influences of the U.S. and the deep inroads that the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) has made into their governance and security frameworks.

U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) has announced, that at the direction of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, military forces under Joint Task Force-Southern Spear (JTF-SS) carried out a strike Tuesday, December 30, against three narco-trafficking vessels traveling in a convoy in International Waters.
According to SOUTHCOM, intelligence indicated that the vessels were transiting along a known narco-trafficking route and had transferred narcotics between the three vessels prior to the strikes, with three narco-terrorists aboard the first vessel killed in the initial engagement while the remaining narco-terrorists abandoned the other two boats, jumping overboard and distancing themselves before follow-on engagements sank their respective vessels, all of which were believed to have been associated with a Designated Terrorist Organization (DTO).
Following the strikes, search-and-rescue operations for the survivors were launched by the U.S. Coast Guard.

A Soyuz-2 Rocket carrying 53 Small Satellites, including 2 for the Iranian Space Agency, was launched earlier today from the Vostochny Cosmodrome in Eastern Russia; with all of the Satellites said to have been Successfully Deployed in Orbit. The Two Satellites provided by Iran, include a High-Resolution Imaging Satellite named “Kowsar” and “Hodhod” a Communication Satellite, with both expected to last roughly 4 Years in Orbit.
