@tylerburz@TheCartelDel It's not just this, but even if it were, the team still has to build those lower settings. They don't come free - an artist needs to build lower res textures and lower poly models to show at the "low" settings, for example. Programmers need to write code to create a lo-res option
@focusfronting I dunno your friends - or more realistically, your families, the sorts of people who get invited even if they're not super inline with you - but I've been to weddings with cash bars, and weddings with no bars, and it's all been chill.
@TychoBrahe I think I could explain it, but X isn't conducive. But- 1, there is that a certain class of Smart Person that empathizes with databases as much as people. 2, human consciousness is an emergent property of a database, preloaded with data at birth, via evolution.
@KitandKrysta This particular studio has also been through the wringer, and was part of the Embracer acquisition and meltdown cycle. Nintendo stepping in ensures that a studio that's done great work for their platform sticks around, at what was likely a very low cost.
We lost a great man yesterday. Jon Miller worked with me on these games, but more importantly Jon created GEMS, the sound driver used in 200 Genesis Games. Jon made GEMS to enable musicians on the SEGA Genesis, not just FM programmers.
Jon always called me Edddieeeee 💔
@Fruity_Koala1 @NotBoogey@Pyoro_X The SW1/SW2 etc literally mean "Switch 1, Switch 2" *and* they're related to the playthroughs. The NWC cartridges has physical switches on them that set how long the player had to complete the game. The label is just documenting what each switch does.
