@icyponds@not_ellington 2/2 humans have always had some sort of work given to them by society. Just because its shifted from "go forage berries" to modern day jobs doesnt mean this is some new concept. We are social and are built to feel like were doing something that contributes somehow.
@icyponds@not_ellington Go 1 month with no predetermined goal or task - no work, and no education with the purpose of career advancement. The vast majority will struggle to fill their time. There is a reason many unemployed people on benefits fall into depression, and its not just low income. (1/2)
@fiveoutofnine PHP vulnerability took my University website down while I was trying to study so I cant get my lecture presentations. Still offline. Small fish but it shows just how far this goes.
@qualcomm9008 I wouldnt dismiss it, https://t.co/vVRoTzxd4b works and ive managed to port it to a google pixel 3 getting well into user land/apple logo on boot and very close to springboard working. the concept is possible.
@yogurtpott@alexanderrX_@bissbtc Once you leave you realise. Itโs a city that pushes you, and somehow makes you feel bigger rather than smaller. Feels like the Center of the world in a way.
i built a skill to un-slop AI-looking apps
most AI-generated UIs still have the same problem:
they look polished, but they also look obviously AI-made
same cards
same gradients
same generic โmodern appโ layout
same zero-personality design
so this skill forces claude to actually think differently than it would normally do
โ starts from a real visual concept
โ explores 3 different directions
โ picks one coherent design language
โ renders the screens at iPhone size
โ scans the result for obvious AI-slop patterns
โ critiques and refines it before you ship
when everyone is shipping ai slop apps, yours has to be different to succeed
iโm giving the full skill away for free
rt + comment โstop slopโ and iโll send it over
(follow so i can dm)
@erengdev@jacobmparis Yep. Never had a device hold up remotely this well in my life. If it weren't for ram bottleneck I wouldnt even consider upgrading for years to come.
@dcdcnonverter@uhhhhhidk711@jdnopon Thereโs a camera app from adobe that replaces apple processing with its own and the photos often come out looking more like the 2nd pic, itโs p good
