Dave Ramsey explains why the government stopped making you pay your taxes by hand, and what would happen if it started again.

RAMSEY: “If we brought this back, there would be a revolution. People would burn Washington, DC, down.

“If the tax person from the IRS had to stand in the lobby of your company, and you got paid in cash, and you had to take your cash and hand it to the tax collector and count it out every time you got paid, people would realize how big a tick on your butt the government is, how big a parasite the government is.

“And they would, I’m telling you, there’d be pitchforks and torches.

“If you actually saw and physically had to take possession of the money and then give it back in cash to the government when you got paid, people’s faces would melt off.”

KAMEL: “Just the amount of $100 bills you’re just giving to the IRS for doing nothing. That hurts. It would be a Tea Party round two.”

RAMSEY: “So it was a really brilliant idea to do income tax withholding.”

KAMEL: “Just make it all behind the scenes.”

RAMSEY: “Brilliant psychological trick.”

A WHO commission wants to declare climate change a “global health emergency.” Their big evidence? Rising heat deaths in Europe. But once you adjust for an aging society, the “crisis” essentially disappears.

Even more dishonestly, the report conceals that cold deaths have declined by approximately 250 times as much as heat deaths have risen.

Hunga Tonga is still affecting the atmosphere.

On Jan 15, 2022, the underwater volcano erupted in the South Pacific. It blasted roughly 160 million metric tons of water vapor into the stratosphere, increasing levels by an unprecedented 10%.

Most major eruptions cool the planet by injecting reflective aerosols. Hunga Tonga erupted underwater and punched seawater high into the atmosphere.

Water vapor is the most dominant greenhouse gas.

NASA warned the eruption could have a temporary warming effect.

Then global temperatures spiked in 2023 and 2024. Predictably, the spike was sold as proof of accelerating CO2-driven warming, with activist-scientists downplayed any influence from the record Hunga Tonga eruption.

But now comes the next test. The excess water vapor is now declining, slowly, and with it, global temperatures are also falling. The accelerating crisis looks a lot like a temporary atmospheric pulse, now fading on schedule.

Here again, we have a natural driver dominating Earth's climate.

Grunnskolen har hatt en negativ utvikling det siste tiåret. Vi bruker ekstreme mengder med penger på utdanning sammenliknet med andre land, men vi får lite igjen.

Lærerene trenger å styrke sin kompetanse, dette er noe OECD spesielt trekker frem.

OECD foreslår å forenkle dagens læreplaner.

Jeg sier at vi har et skolesystem som var ment for forrige århundre.

Det vi trenger er en skole som ruster elevene ved å trene dem i kritisk tenking, emosjonell kompetanse, problemløsning, hvordan ta vare på seg selv både psykisk og fysisk, men viktigst av alt, at de lærer økonomi og juss. For hvordan kan vi forvente at mennesker skal bli aktive deltagende borgere om de aldri lærer hvordan å delta?

Staten bruker mer penger enn noensinne, men likevel leser jeg stadig om kutt i skole- og helsetjenester. SSB påstår at nordmenn har fått bedre råd, men det gjelder nesten ingen jeg kjenner. Hva er det egentlig som skjer?

Svaret ser ut til å være inflasjon. Jo mer penger vi trykker, desto mindre blir de verdt. Det er derfor vi stadig bruker mer, men får mindre igjen for pengene.
