@JenniferSensiba @DaveMattson I’ve been around since the 2013 Focus Electric. Now even Tesla owners complain about charging times, those sweet summer children. I remember when 6.6kW was a big deal over the standard 3.3kW LEAF S/Spark. 👴🏻
Heyo @AgingWheels, hopefully this isn’t the thousandth time you’ve been pinged with this. Coda 003. We thoroughly enjoy your videos.

@jeremyjudkins_ FWIW, I’ve set my phone to only charge to 80% to save battery life, and it doesn’t get hot on the Tesla Phone Heater pads anymore.
Shouldn’t have to do that, but since it’s almost always near power anyway… why not?
8:20, first time being referred to by name and having eye contact with staff in FW.
But I’ve learned so much now about staff breakfast, who rode a bike today, and paternity leave. It’s a jovial environment… unless you’re a patient left in a corner.
When your day starts at the @UCDavisHealth ER, but you’ve been waiting for bloodwork for over 90 minutes. Not only have no employees been in the room for 20+ minutes, but nobody has introduced themselves since we’ve been here.
@StevenRoss1987@jmwilt21@iamhereforelon @Stephen_Not_Bot @slye@itskyleconner Having had an original Ioniq Electric, I remember reading it was the most efficient EV until Tesla rolled an update to Model 3 to take the top spot.
TL;DR the source data may differ depending on when it was taken
@OgieOglethorp21@itskyleconner In short, that’s a good temp for any EV battery. Most will try to heat/cool as needed to stay somewhere around there when needed.
10/10 @ChargePointnet session at @Target in Auburn, CA
Odd remaining time to charge predictions:
- Mazda app: 90min.
- DC station: 2min.
- Reality: maybe 30min.
The Mazda is weird. @RateYourCharge
You roll up to the only DC charging around with 3mi range left and see this. What do you do?
Happily, the other station reached the MX-30’s passenger-rear connector.
