Paid troll networks manipulating public opinion is a well-documented reality in the CN gaming industry, recently investigated by Shanghai police and reported by state media. It's not a 'conspiracy'; it's the environment we operate in. But honestly, whether it's rival companies or just organized antis, the exact source doesn't change the facts: anyone inciting chaos right now is actively harming Valko's chances to return. My only focus is keeping our movement peaceful and rational.
不如這樣,你自證一下你推狼的證據再來反駁我。
🚨 URGENT WARNING: Antis and paid trolls are panicking! 🚨
The 25 Valko billboards at Cologne Airport have completely terrified the antis and rival companies. Now, they are desperately attacking HQ and trying to incite the fandom to act irrationally.
Do not fall for their trap! Their ultimate goal is to make us look like a "toxic, unhinged fandom" so they can ruin Valko’s reputation and give Infold an excuse to ignore us.
The closer we get to Gamescom, the calmer we must be. Do not let them manipulate your emotions. stay rational, and stick to the "No Valko, No Money" strike. That is the ONLY clean and effective way to bring our Wolfie home ! 🐺💚

It's true that not every angry player is a CDG, but paid trolls are absolutely using this exact situation to manipulate the crowd—we've seen it clearly on CN platforms. Everyone can voice their feelings, but playing into the chaos only ruins our chances. A peaceful and rational approach is the only right answer.
Okay, I deleted the two posts for a specific reason: I realized I was trying to find a solution to something I can’t solve nor am I really in the position to do so.
Funnily enough, it was because everyone was making valid points.
And I think that revealed the simplest answer: people are free to boycott however they believe is most effective.
So I’m going to continue doing it my way, and others can do it theirs. I think we should respect those decisions.
But there was one thing that was unanimous in those threads: nobody deserves to be called names because of the way they choose to boycott.
We share the same goal but we do not have to share the same strategy.
So let’s respect each other, our decisions, and our different cultural perspectives.
That’s all I’m going to say about it now.
🔹️Do NOT Panic!🔹️
A screenshot is circulating, supposedly showing a letter received by someone regarding Valko's cancelation.
Here is your "IS it true" and "IF it's true":
About the Aug. 25 Shanghai government screenshot being circulated...
⭐️No visible official seal. Formal Chinese government documents and xinfang handling opinions normally use an agency seal. That doesn’t prove this is fake... it may simply be text shown inside an online complaint portal or from an email with the seal part not shown... but the screenshot alone does not authenticate a formal government document.
(If someone can message the original sender, ask this:
“If this is an official formal response, can we please see the underlying document or identifying features that authenticate it... such as the seal, document number, official sender, or portal record?”)
⭐️The format is also unusual. Standard xinfang handling opinions normally include a document number, title, addressee, findings, review information, seal, and date. This screenshot reads more like a portal response or summary.
⭐️Most importantly, READ WHAT IT ACTUALLY SAYS!
The Aug. 25 date is the date of the REPLY.
The events described are from June: Valko was announced, controversy followed, regulators met with Papergames, and Papergames later canceled him.
It does NOT say:
❌ The government ordered Valko canceled
❌ Valko is banned
❌ Valko cannot return
❌ The cancellation must remain permanent
❌ The current restoration campaign was rejected
If authentic, it confirms that regulators met with Papergames during the initial backlash, but it does not contain a new ruling on Valko or say that the government ordered or requires his cancellation.
And one more thing actually caught my attention.
The final substantive sentence isn't:
“The matter is resolved.”
It's:
“Our bureau will continue to monitor to the relevant situation regarding Love and Deepspace.”
Hear that? "CONTINUE TO PAY MONITOR."
It means our demands to have him back, the boycott, global and domestic desire for Valko, Valko's ability to positively spread CN culture, and the financial visibility of the game are ALL still on the table being observed.

Angel is always so wise about the PPG situation. Her video made me realize I had a few thoughts I wanted to get out.
As a newer player (since I haven’t been here since the game came out), I knew very little about China. I had sparse knowledge, maybe some of their car brands, a few religious viewpoints, and some strict cultural stances.
But Valko’s cancellation has brought a lot of new information to light for me:
Games are not just games for them.
Their importance is deeply tied to their culture. It is such a massive deal that they use them as a "Cultural Export." I had never heard of anything like this before, to me, games were just something to play and enjoy without overthinking.
Fandoms over there can do real damage.
Since they take this so seriously and there aren't strong laws to prevent "water armies" (organized groups of paid internet commentators who manipulate public opinion, promote products, or attack competitors on Chinese platforms), they can invent whatever narrative they want to smear the reputation of any company or individual. They can affect hundreds of lives. It never crossed my mind that some angry girls posting on the internet could orchestrate such a thing. I had this image that the CN side was really strict with this type of behavior, but apparently not.
Cultural Export.
I thought people understood what that actually entails: if you are going to share your culture, you have to assume we might not know much about it. Because, as Angel showed in her video, now they aren't happy with Rafayel’s Myth either, claiming that’s also anti-China and also related to war and Japan.
On a side note, this proves once again that Valko was never the actual problem, and removing him from LADS was NOT the solution. If he was, why are we still seeing the exact same arguments pop up? They are just weaponizing real, horrible historical events to appeal to the emotions of non-players just to stir up trouble.
Adapting or explaining little things for global players works so much better than throwing raw cultural assets at us. We all come from huge, rich cultures ourselves, and precisely because of that we understand that something being meaningful to us doesn't mean outsiders will automatically grasp its weight.
Take the Qixi events. LADS took the time to build up the legend behind the date, so players slowly grew genuinely interested in the tradition instead of being confused by it. That's what sharing a culture looks like. When a myth or a historical reference gets dropped into the game with no framing at all, most of the global playerbase doesn't walk away enriched, they walk away lost, and then get told they're disrespectful for not recognizing something nobody ever gave them the tools to recognize.
It's like if I, as a Mexican, expected everyone globally to instantly understand that Día de Muertos is about celebrating and honoring the memory of the people we lost, not about mourning them. It's layered, and the only way anyone learns it is if someone takes the time to teach it.
In conclusion, true cultural export should be a bridge, not a weapon. If a company genuinely wants to share its heritage with a global audience, that takes patience, thoughtful localization, and a willingness to teach. Bending the knee to toxic water armies who weaponize history to cancel characters destroys that bridge. We are more than happy to appreciate their culture, but using it as a constant excuse to stir up drama and ruin the game for everyone else defeats the entire purpose. And in the end, fewer people will want to learn anything about it, not because of PPG, but because of people who lack empathy and don't understand how a global audience actually works.

They didn't say not to mention his name. They said not to expect news about Valko and to lower expectations so people don't get demoralized when there are no news. For streaming, they're just telling you to spam when the LADS part comes up.
