@msreidenglish @MtDiabloUSD Thank you so much, Rosie! It means so much to me that you are making time in your very busy schedule to volunteer for us. 💕
I am proud to announce that the California School Employees Association has endorsed our campaign. Anyone that has worked at a school knows that classified staff members are the backbone of our schools. I am so grateful to have their support. Thank you @CSEA_Now!
At the Meet & Greet someone said that even now, some of our students don’t have everything they need. This week, I spoke w/ Isabel Lara, MDUSD’s Community Liaison. She’s been with us for 18 years, & we’re so lucky to have her. She works tirelessly to support students & families.
After for voting for him multiple times and attending numerous town hall meetings to see him speak, it’s a surreal experience to announce that my campaign has been endorsed by Congressman Mark DeSaulnier. I am so very honored to have his support.
Our next Meet and Greet will be this Saturday! We’ll talk about my campaign, and listen and respond to community feedback and questions about MDUSD. Please let us know if you can make it. Zoom: https://t.co/QERO0ULcka
I’m grateful for this endorsement, & for the opportunity to work with the Racial Equity Task Force. We’re lucky to have so many stakeholders in MDUSD who care about and are willing to volunteer their time to do this incredibly important work. We must serve all of our students.
As a lifelong Democrat, I am so very honored to be endorsed by the Democratic Party of Contra Costa County and the California Democratic Party. Thank you for your support, @contracostadems@CA_Dem
I am so grateful for the support of the Contra Costa Central Labor Council. As a proud union member, I know that unions are the backbone of the middle class. Thank you, @CoCoLabor, for fighting for working people and for endorsing our campaign!
I’ve been thinking about a video that we saw in a district staff meeting where students and staff expressed why they want an anti-racist district. Are we moving in the same direction in MDUSD? What are your thoughts or ideas about anti-racism in education?
In AUHSD we started with Academy Cohorts this week. We introduced ourselves, directed students toward training on Canvas (our new learning management system for DL), and started district created Race and Equity lessons.
