@StopAIS_MB Thanks! Our little zebra mussel taught her kindergarten friends all about zebra mussels. It’s her 2nd invasive species costume. 2 years ago she was an Emerald Ash Borer (& her dad was a tree with a sticky trap)! We love Manitoba Parks and want our kids to learn to protect them.

@MatteoDiMuro 20 total. Classroom teachers were doing their own remote teaching, then sharing between cohort teachers, and now it’s me. Fortunately my admins know that in-person teaching is a full time job, and remote teaching is a full time job, and it’s not okay to ask people to do both.

Hello! I’m a teacher librarian in Winnipeg and starting in January I’ve taken over the 3/4/5 remote teaching at both of my schools. The families of my students have chosen to keep them home, many since we went to orange. Most are committed until spring break or beyond. #mbedchat

I feel like everyone who would fit this description is already working. We can’t lose teachers in schools at this point in all of this

@MBGovParks Our 3 year old took notice of the EMerald Ash Borer signs in all the parks we visited this summer and wanted to be one for Halloween! @andrewmead73 is a great sport and went as her ash tree complete with sign and sticky trap!
