The Little Read was an incredible event! We are proud of all of our students that dug into a Map Into the World. Thank you @sammyslaws for representing @hickoryschools and asking the author questions from students and Jenny Lee for sharing about her culture in the production.
I am so excited to say it's finally official! I can't wait to share this course and help provide additional tools and research for teachers as we work with our striving readers! #hickoryschoools#excelyourwhy

Students in Mrs. Auton’s class are practicing letter formation, sounds, and names with a variety of creative activities. I love seeing the engagement and the sound of the sound of students diligently practicing throughout the classroom. #hickoryschools#excelYourWhy

We had some great conversations in “iReady: What now?” Our teachers work so hard to dig into data for individual needs and how to address them. Also, how many monitors does it take to teach in 2020? We’ve decided that 4 is ideal! #ExcelYourWHY#BreastCancerAwareness#HPSCC2020
After 7 months, we were able to finish Reading Research to Classroom Practice! Thank you Cynde Gilmore & @MandaStegall for your mentorship as I finish my requirements to be an instructor. So excited to bring this training to #hickoryschools & build great readers! #excelyourWHY
