Moderna has said it will likely charge $130 for its Covid vaccine.
Taxpayers, through the US government, gave $2.5 billion to develop the Moderna vaccine.
It was nearly entirely funded by taxpayers.
And it costs only around $3 to produce.
Unusual.
@jess_sims - I had the best idea today when I accidentally took a Spanish language strength class w/ #Radlopez today: Duel Language Fit Family! I think kids who are learning Spanish or English would really love another modality to learn vocabulary and exercise at the same time.
One of my favorite White House traditions was telling Thanksgiving jokes – which at least I thought were funny.
Here’s a look back at some of my favorites:
@AustinWater Seriously, @AustinWater - everyone in #ATX knows what it’s like to live without water. I’d like to imagine living w/ a water utility that was accountable and capable.
Why dryer sheets and fabric softeners are bad:
They “work” by putting a thin film of lipids or waxes over the fabric to make it feel soft to the touch.
But that waxy coating can build up on clothes. It also holds on to moisture…which is why some clothes smell bad after awhile.

The state rail service announced that all railway tracks from Russia to Ukraine have been blown up by Ukraine’s armed forces.
@CubsChamp2016@AmtrakConnects Yes!!! Omaha to KC is a must! It would close the loop making train travel from Dallas to Omaha in a reasonable amount of time possible
@LauRUN01@SubliminalAniml@AustinWater They can’t lift the boil notice until they have good test results. Hopefully that is tonight. They said in the previous tweet it would be tonight bc they believe they fixed the problem and anticipate good try results. 🤞🤞🤞
@mickmickfuzz @senpai_rocky @AustinWater Ah…well, I think we are all waiting to hear what the “human error” was. It could have been massively stupid or it could be something that we could all understand as the kind of error that might occur. We will definitely need to know what happened.
@EphremSteve @senpai_rocky @AustinWater Austin Water has fixed the problem but they have to have another party test the water to ensure the fix worked and the water is safe again.
@senpai_rocky @AustinWater I believe that is probably true…but we are following the regulatory process for a reason. The reason is because we don’t fuck around with potable water.
