Today, I listened to a relationship health podcast and they said that if time healed all wounds then all of the people in prison would be the most emotionally healthy people in the world. 😆

Healing takes work. Relationships take work. Good things take work.

I dated a lot in my 20s. Tried to work on being virtuous and chose to save sex for marriage. Chose not to marry for money or power but for love, virtue and faith. Eternal values are always more important than worldly ones. I’m not sharing this as a brag but I hope to encourage other young women weighing what their priorities and goals should be.

Feminist ideology may be telling you that marriage and kids aren’t worth it — but they are. Or you may be hearing that “high-value” men cheat and care most about youth. Don’t believe that either.

Become the best you can be, find a good community and mentors that can help you grow, be open to love, be on a mission to seek God and serve others, and keep your standards high. If it’s His will for you, you will fall in love with and marry a great man whose character and faith you should prize above all.
