‘There is an old Tigrinya proverb: “ጭጉራፍሲ ወቂዓ ተእዊ” — “The whip does the lashing, then cries out in pain.” Few expressions better capture the irony of the #Ethiopian government’s latest pronouncement against #Eritrea. By @Ghidewon via @RedSeaBeacon

At the 1991 Addis Ababa conference, EPLF General Secretary Isaias Afwerki told the 27 Ethiopian rebel groups: either accept Eritrea’s right to self determination or face the same fate as Mengistu. Time to restore that greatness 😁 they don’t look happy in their faces 😂. #Assab
You can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig. And once a liar, always a liar. Trust is earned through truth and actions, not polished words or appearances.
Here is the next Eritrean president. He is highly educated and exceptionally intelligent. I am thoroughly impressed by him. He unintentionally told the truth about #AbiyAhmedAli. He is truly talented.
😂😀😂😀😀😃🤣
I’ve always been curious about why people sell their souls, but it’s become evident now. Both of the so-called leaders of Berged Nhamedu are complete fools. It’s no wonder they’re on the wrong side of history and actively working to undermine Eritrea’s sovereignty and independence.

@LastNigus Ther is a quote for people like you.
"A hen cannot think further than her daily scratch.'"
Things are changing rapidly, yet you seems to be clueless. Bekele
🔥 Breaking:
Ethiopia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the closure of its embassy in Asmara and declared 10 Eritrean diplomats in Addis Abeba persona non grata, ordering them to leave the country within 48 hours.
To 🇪🇷 national team

Cobbler, stick to your last! A large, overcrowded throne room. Many people press forward toward power, yet one solitary figure seems strangely alien and enigmatic; all eyes are fixed on them.@BeyeneGerezghe1 <> You really are a strange bird …😂😂
So what if he’s been president since 1993? He’s the only African leader who didn’t trade his country’s independence for foreign aid and IMF lectures. Eritrea has been sanctioned for years and still stands on its own two feet. Coming from Ethiopia — a country that has spent decades asking the world for help — this lecture is embarrassing.
Now do the other African countries with leaders who’ve also served long terms:
[Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo: 1979; Paul Biya: 1982; Denis Sassou Nguesso; 1979-1982 & 1997; Yoweri Museveni 1986; King Mswati III: 1986; Ismail Omar Guelleh: 1999.]
This African Firsts account is bias and predatory when it pertains to defamation towards the state of Eritrea. A simple search throughout its history of posts will uncover an unusual fixation and obsession with Eritrea.
🤔
🚨 Abiy Ahmed’s government has been accused of recruiting and using children in armed conflict—a practice prohibited under international law. UN reporting has documented the recruitment and use of children by the ENDF.
@unbiasedpresss Bringing a cowered person claims to be Eritrean by birth; with mental disorder problem. to tell us how Ethiopia is strong is a joke that will cost you everything if you act on it.
No amount of smear campaign will ever tarnish z historically know fact that the Eritrean defense force is the most disciplined, respectful, compassionate and dedicated army in z world! Just ask former POWs how they were treated, I stand with #EDF and 🇪🇷 govnt #EritreaPrevails
