@vxel I dzieci po prostu tracą zdolność do rozwiązywania testów IQ, które są dosyć wąską kategorią same w sobie.

Wymagają pewnego abstrakcyjnego myślenia o strukturach językowych i liczbowych, a może dzieciaki inaczej się rozwijają, inaczej konsumują, inaczej trenują mózg.

@vxel Teza jest chyba taka, że kultura pisma i model edukacji budują struktury oraz umiejętności rozwiązywania zadań utożsamianych z twardym IQ.

Myślę, że dwie twarde hipotezy to albo społeczeństwo idiocji, albo dzieci inaczej uczą się konsumować treści.

Badania IQ to teraz śliski temat. Można karierę stracić łatwo.

@EricSThor @tobi @cafedujord Historically that's called census suffrage (tax or property qualification), and most democracies actually tried it. Lll had property/tax thresholds before universal suffrage. It got abandoned for a reason.
The core problem: whoever sets the threshold controls who gets to vote.

@EricSThor @tobi @cafedujord Legitimacy is why democracy survives itself. You vote every few years, your vote counts, you feel included — and when you lose, you didn't get crushed, you just lost a fair round. No reason to fight. The idea isn't broken; it's just a hard sell to mass market.
