Last week, 2,000 out-of-school children in Ashanti, Ghana 🇬🇭 attended their first day of class. The entire @luminosfund Ghana team was there to celebrate together and to support our teachers – many of whom have never taught before.

❤️ coffee, food (so many vegetarian options 😭), graffiti (mostly featuring llamas), cable car instead of metro, taxi drivers who don't speak unless you speak first, people.

Potosí, literally breathtaking at 4,090 m above sea level. Beautiful old town, much of it crumbling. Cerro Rico looming over the city, mining as important now as it was 500 years ago.
