We celebrated the official unveiling of our four “Spirit Bead” Murals. We were joined by Elder Frank and Darcy Turning Robe to bless and give our outdoor learning space the official Blackfoot name, “naatoyísksááhkoii” which means Holy Ground. @Indigenous_cbe
A wonderful day for the grade 7’s to experience some Land Based Learning. It was HOT but full of beauty. The Budding Moon is near and the signs of Moyoyi (Blackfoot for spring) were everywhere. Grade 6’s go tomorrow. #WeAreCBE

Ms Baillargeon and her art classes have done amazing work! Some of their work has been displayed at the CBE Education Centre over the last two weeks and today our Ernest Morrow teachers had a chance to see all of this amazing art.
Students and staff were honoured to welcome Darcy Turning Robe from Siksika to share his knowledge, humour, and immense singing and drumming talent. Staff and students were able to play alongside Darcy and be a part of a beautiful, healing experience. @Indigenous_cbe @CBEArea3
Happy 86th birthday to Elder Edmee. Such a wonderful visit Denise and I had with great laughs and story sharing. Can’t wait to see you again at our @ernestmorrowcbe Indigenous Family Night. #WeAreCBE#CBEindigenousEd
Inner reflection on this shortest day of the year. Thank you Elder Saa’kokoto for your teaching. “Get us to the point where we will see our footprints in the snow.” ~Elder Saa’kokoto @Indigenous_cbe #WinterSolstice

RT if you've had a shocking increase in your utility bills lately.
And remember: if the UCP hadn't removed the price cap on the Regulated Rate Option for electricity (implemented by the NDP govt), prices per KWh would be less than half of what consumers are seeing today. #ableg
Students doing an Incredible job of showing Métis Dot art work and their understanding of plants in Gr 7 science. #cbeindigenoused#wearecbe https://t.co/R5rr1BdbBv
