Proud of we have my three fellow grad students, Jenna @Jenna_M_Walters Jen @entojen and Ellie @NewDarling in the EROF 2022 committee. They did awesome job for the past application and interview period. We are now all excited for the summer! ๐ฌ
For the last day of #GradStudentAppreciationWeek, I'm highlighting @erofmsu. This grad student-led initiative seeks to increase diversity in entomology through mentored research experiences for undergrads. I'm constantly impressed by the passion and innovation of our students!

Donations to the EROF program can be done here: https://t.co/QVc0FJ4fmA (Named 'Entomology DEI fund'). Please RT, share with friends and family, and donate what you can. We need your help to make this happen! @EEB_MSU @CANRDiversity @CANRatMSU@MSUEntomology@MSUAgBio (6/6)
As many of you remember, the start of a career in science requires diligence and grit, but also financial security, mentorship, and a bit of luck. We hope you consider supporting the next generation of entomologists by making these opportunities accessible to EVERYONE. (5/6)
We believe these opportunities can and should continue for the advancement of students and for the good of entomology as a whole. We are humbly asking our colleagues and friends to donate to the EROF fellowship fund which will directly fund salaries, insurance, & supplies (4/6)
For some background, graduate students at @MSUEntomology created this program in 2020 and we were able to provide a livable wage, insurance, research exploration, mentorship, and career development skills to 5 AMAZING fellows in Summer 2021! (2/6)
Looking to support a good cause for the holidays? Consider donating to the @MSUEntomology Research and Outreach Fellowship (@erofmsu) here: https://t.co/QVc0FJ4fmA where we provide PAID research experience/mentorship to undergrads with limited access to these opportunities (1/6)
