@talk2GLOBE FYI my service is still disconnected and I have yet to receive a competent response from your end

[Erol Fornoles @erolfornoles]

@talk2GLOBE I'd like to understand why my account was disconnected even if I have paid my bill before the due date and the GlobeOne app says my balance is "All set!"

Seeing a marked increase in cyberattacks this evening. Combined with the deeply disturbing headlines, fear the world just turned up the crazy dial another notch. We’re ready online at @Cloudflare. But… worried for the world.

@jploh Worse are the Covid deniers who still insist that deaths are fake and the rise in cases are exaggerated

When working with software beware of premature abstraction and premature automation.

Live with code dups until you know that an abstraction is needed (this may require a few iterations).

Master your manual process and manual verification before to automate (including tests).

@adlersantos @franciak @radamanthus And it really has been a blast, working with all of you!

[Erol Fornoles @erolfornoles]

@adlersantos @franciak @radamanthus DG has always been my benchmark on how cross-functional teams should operate. Do agree that it wasn't ideal from an engineering standpoint, but we've more than made up for it by being very selective on the people we bring onboard.

@ngpestelos @iampinglacson When was this ever practiced?

[Erol Fornoles @erolfornoles]

@iampinglacson What happened to dura lex, sed lex?

[Erol Fornoles @erolfornoles]

@headgeekette You should try and point it at those “boys” instead and see how much they’ll sweat

@gwenshap Every time someone starts arguing about Infinite Scalability, I tend to say: "Let's discuss Tanenbaum's book about Distributed Systems, chapter 1, page 24." - the discussion usually ceases at least harmoniously =) #SunMicrosystems #TheNetworkIsTheComputer
