One of the hardest things about this war is watching our elders lose their memory as they cope with the loss of loved ones younger than them. #KeepEyesOnSudan.
"At least 1.3 million people have returned to the capital only to find a disaster: Severe food shortages, few jobs, and almost no service provision. Poverty is desperate and widespread."

Tomorrow, May 11 there will be a memorial in London for our dear friend Sudanese advocate @HamidMurtada from 6-9 pm.
There will also be an opportunity for folks to join online from around the world: https://t.co/CFi8wlOPYc
"Muzan’s ability to create space for new possibilities should not be one that we yield in this terrible moment. By carrying her sensibility with us, we might build that better world, one of which she would be proud."

On this third year anniversary of the war in Sudan we woke up to the devastating news that our friend and comrade Muzan Al Neel has passed away. She was a brilliant revolutionary thinker, writer and organizer and a wonderful human.
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un

Not impressed by the increasing number of uncritically pro-SAF/army accounts on social media platforms "raising awareness about Sudan". Especially northern Sudanese diaspora positioning themselves as "representing Sudan" while erasing role of SAF in the rise of the RSF.
Sudanese authorities in SAF-held areas dispersed protests and arrested activists - who have kept people alive during this war - as they commemorated the 7th anniversary of the December 2018 revolution.
Pls sh@re this‼️
