We catch up to our group and he’s like okay we’re gunna stick with them but I’m here to help you. I could not, in fact, keep up with the group. I am. So clumsy and so nervous and SO EMBARRASSED at this point that Mark is like alright bet
My instructor then screams for back up and tells me Mark is going to help me. Mark comes over as quickly as he can. Both skis are off at this point and I’m just standing there. Rev and the group have fully abandoned me. Mark asks what we need
This time, I’m having a hard time getting my body to cooperate and get up. There’s 5 people and an instructor staring at me. I begin to feel like crying. I keep trying to get my ski off. My instructor is yelling “NOT THE HOLE, THE DIMPLE.” Reader, I have no idea what this means
I start out full of optimism. It’s a group of 6 of us, all adults, all first timers. 5/6 at least 30. I’m like great! I was afraid I’d have a group of teenagers.
Can’t wait to drive to the office in a snow storm on Christmas Eve to only work til 1 when we totally could just close to walk in’s and let everyone work from home 🤗🤗
