PAED RHEUM: Reaching out for help
I work with a brilliant young physio who wants to gain rheum paediatric expertise. I fear we will lose her from rheum to another discipline due to lack of pathway to gain this knowledge in Sydney.
Any ideas?
We are ready to assist you and your colleagues in Primary Health Care @brookmanknight We can help you with contemporary, sensible, economical, and consumer focused solutions that will ease the burden of chronic disease! @apaphysio#teamwork
Primary care reform is overdue and necessary. GPs are under too much strain with their workload and have the support of the physio profession to get the job done safer and better in the future!
Runners that had completed >1000 marathons showed no radiologic evidence of knee #osteoarthritis. I would still be concerned about survivor bias and that too much of a good thing may not work for everyone's knees https://t.co/sOPaMghzob
We have much to offer with more options to come. If you haven’t seen a rheumatologist and your arthritis is affecting your enjoyment of life, it’s time https://t.co/pLd0wdljMr
Front row seats to witness the messiah @AdamMeakins in action! No miracles. 😇 Just common sense & good banter.
Take home:
- You don’t always need a structural Dx
- Variety of movement = normal
- Special tests are not so special
- Eliminate low value Rx
- Follow S&C Principles
