@ZachWeiner Some great ones on here that I’ve already seen: Rascal, punk, twerp, ornery, miscreant, scalawag, rapscallion!
My personal favorites from my own life:
“little weasel!”
“fiendish imp!”
@ymmayer Well, I can’t speak for others but: I enjoy my family and I enjoy cooking. I’m also a spontaneous gift giver and Christmas is stressful to me due to the forced gift giving theme. *shrug*
I don’t celebrate many holidays because I’m not spiritual… so to me, TG is king.
@SarahTheHaider These are all a bit off of the beaten trail and leaning toward sci-fi - but I adore them.
The Yiddish policeman’s union -Michael Chabon
Roadside Picnic - Arkady Strugatsky
A canticle for Lebowitz - Walter M Miller
Life is a teratogen.
Entropy comes for us all.
Studying all the things that now have associations with poor fetal outcomes and good lord, it’s just …everything!

@RoxyWiedemann@AndreaLynnLewis I understand this well. I’ve too have tried all the hobbies. I always get to the level just shy of mastery, then drop it to try something new because the effort to go from “better than average” to “master” is the point at which I realize I’d rather try something new.
@AndreaLynnLewis Day one, I do all the tourist stuff. But my favorite part is to spend the rest of the time discovering the essesnce of a place by eating the local foods, talking to local people, finding the local experiences.
@lisatomic5 Well, my blood pressure goes up from 110 to 120 (I measure it daily out of habit) and I get a lot less done. The more stressed I am, the less I produce. So the first things to go are the things that don’t pay the bills - aka cleaning. Exercise. You know… the stuff that helps.
