@el_drapo similar in care homes, we’ve made redundant around 160 hours a week worth of non care jobs, this will have net effect of making the same amount of money next year as last, so the NI bill for us won’t increase, the corporation tax will be the same, and 4 FTE are no longer PAYE

It’s because they can’t provide the service as efficiently as private enterprise

@GyllKing @sneezy_joe @NinkyMama You are aware that care homes employ more than just care staff? For your £8200, £5k will go to care staff, kitchen staff, house keeping and laundry, maintenance staff and then management.
I’m surprised London average fees aren’t higher tbh with London land values.

We have over 100 beds available to LA, yet I’ll do what I can to avoid taking NHS funded clients, yet nobody from the NHS will ask me why.
