#Dahyun became famous as the lead Rapper of the chart-topping, record-breaking, history-making K-Pop Girl Group #TWICE, the best-selling K-Pop Girl Group of All Time! Dahyun is famous for her amazing vocals, slick rap delivery and flawless dance moves! She’s an incredible all-round entertainer with a fearless spirit, radiating confidence and joy, and has contributed greatly to TWICE's success with her killer concert solo stages where she often owns the arena! She's also a very talented songwriter, credited on 23 of TWICE's songs with 2 where she also has composition credits, making her one of TWICE's most creative members alongside Jihyo and Chaeyoung. Dahyun was first noticed on YouTube singing with her church choir in a dance video called the "eagle dance"! In 2015, she competed in the reality TV show 'Sixteen', and was chosen to join TWICE as a singer and rapper! That same year, she debuted as part of the group with their EP 'The Story Begins' and its lead single "Like Ooh-Ahh"! Dahyun graduated from Hanlim Multi Art School in 2017 and was voted the 17th most popular Korean Idol in Gallup annual music poll!

Dahyun is also a TV star having hosted several shows including 'the 2018 KBS Song Festival', 'the Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant' in 2022 and 'the Idol Star Athletics Championships' that same year! in May 2024, she made her acting debut in the independent film 'Run To You' She was also cast in the Korean remake of Taiwanese film 'You Are the Apple of My Eye'! The film premiered at the 29th Busan International Film Festival in October 2024! In 2025, Dahyun slayed in 'Love Me', a Korean remake of the Swedish television series Älska mig (2019–2020).

TWICE has received 3 MTV Europe Music Awards nominations and two MTV Video Music Awards nominations. At the 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards, the group won Best Female Group for the 4th time, breaking the record for the girl group with most wins in the category! In 2021, TWICE's 10th EP, 'Taste of Love', hit #1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart, becoming the first EP by a girl group to reach this Milestone. It was also the first EP from a girl group to enter the top 10 of the Billboard 200! On March 1, 2023, Dahyun with TWICE received the Breakthrough Artist Award at the 2023 Billboard Women in Music held in Los Angeles, marking the first time a female K-Pop group has ever won the award! Dahyun is also a model and Fashion Icon. In March 2021, Dahyun became the model for skincare brand Apieu, and was their muse and global ambassador till 2024. She is also a Fashion Icon and has graced premium magazine features that often tie into paid brand collabs! In July 2023 she was announced as the Global Ambassador of Michael Kors perfectly matching her sharp, versatile, and radiant vibe! She’s starred in multiple campaigns (Spring 2024, Fall 2024, Spring 2025, Summer 2025), and made her runway debut at NYFW for the Spring/Summer 2025 show in September 2024, and continues dropping chic ads!

Dahyun’s charity work shows the same warm heart she brings to every stage.
