Decorate cars to show support to all school lunch superheroes, medical staff, grocery store staff, and any other superheroes out there.

April 30th: Lunch Hero Gratitude Parade
Students are invited to participate in the “Lunch Hero Gratitude Parade” to be celebrated at each open site while food is being distributed from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

April 27-30: Lunch Hero Contest
Students will be encouraged to vote for their school lunch staff through an online survey that can be accessed via the following link:https://t.co/bPizDyyItU
School cafeteria staff with the most votes will receive a digital award.

During the last week of April Food and Child Nutrition Services (FCNS) will have multiple activities to encourage students and parents to recognize food service staff by voting for their school cafeteria superheroes. Please see the following activities:

Using literature to teach math with Mr. Morales @es_halliday this morning. These 1st graders had to figure out how many plants were in the garden? Problem solving at it's best. Each group came up w/ a different way to solve the problem.
