Some of my friends and I overcommit to things, so we made "Saying No to Things" punch cards. If you say no to 10 things, your friends have to buy you an ice cream.

In a pilot study, we found participants both said no to more things and got more free ice cream.

Time to re-up this, but with the burden where it belongs: law professors, if you're teaching from a Restatement or a Model Code, explain to your students that they're not the law. If you did it on the first day, do it again now when they have the context to understand it better.
