🇪🇺🇦🇱 The EU has warned Albania that a luxury resort project linked to Jared Kushner could jeopardise the country’s path to EU membership.

Brussels says the project, planned in a protected area, may breach EU environmental rules and has urged Albania to rethink recent changes to laws on protected areas and strategic investments.

Construction has been halted and an environmental assessment is now underway.
