@JLucroy20 I recall you posting something about pitching good hitters in when you caught because they were more likely to be able to hit to all fields. Maybe close to that, if I remember correctly? Which would track today, with everyone trying to pull, making them less of a “hitter”.

@jakester74 @wischlist I was gonna say, “not where the game was played”, lol. Frustrating series. But the Pad’s are a sleeping giant if the bats keep playing to their potential. They so underperformed offensively this season.

@wischlist I still wish Holecek would have seriously considered coaching the college game. Not sure Illinois would have been best fit since coaches are hired to be fired, but man, he’d be a great D-coordinator at that level.

@shegone03 Agree but I’m biased as I played 1B, lol. My coaching philosophy is since there’s nobody who touches the baseball more than the battery, I won’t sacrifice offense for a good defender there.
