Stefan Raab will help select the 24 entries, produce the selection and will be head of the jury in the qualifying rounds

“Chefsache ESC: Wer singt für Deutschland?” will see 24 songs compete across 2 quarter finals, a semi final and a Grand Final

12 songs will compete in the 2 quarter finals, with 7 songs advancing from each quarter final to the 14 song semi final, where 9 songs will advance to the final

The quarter finals & semi final will be jury-vote only, with the final being televote-only

🇩🇪 Raab has a long history with the contest. He represented them as an artist in 2000, as a songwriter in 1998 & 2004, produced the selections from 2010 to 2012 and hosted in 2011

He’s heavily credited for helping Germany achieve their 2nd Eurovision win in 2010

🇩🇪 ARD have announced a partnership with private broadcaster RTL and German legend Stefan Raab for Eurovision 2025!

No further details have been revealed but it’s believed ARD, RTL and Raab will produce a new selection format, replacing the Unser Lied format
