How New Space Settlements Avoid Early Collapse
https://t.co/Y1BQlGAOy5
Space colonies may reach the stars… then collapse. From fragile ecosystems to genetic drift and incentive failure, how do new settlements survive long enough to become civilizations?
The Great Lunar Boom - Building a Civilization on the Moon
https://t.co/ffd5eC4CQX
The Moon isn’t a stepping stone—it’s the foundation. Discover how industry, logistics, and self-building machines could turn Luna into humanity’s first off-world civilization.
Water Shielded Starships - Surviving Radiation in Deep Space
https://t.co/mt6IMN9WJw
From cosmic rays to solar storms, space travel is a radiation gauntlet... but water may be the simplest, smartest solution. Discover how future starships might turn their life-support systems into life-saving armor.
@realUSofA_pb@mattkratter@BTCsessions@BlackRock@saylor I think his point is there is room for both. You can have 1-100 TH/s at home reasonably enough, but 5 PH/s is a different beast entirely. If you are able to point that hash at your own node/block template, then that's a game changer.
The Physics of FTL Travel
https://t.co/ytNKwctU05
Can humanity ever travel faster than light, or does every shortcut through spacetime break causality itself? We explore warp drives, wormholes, tachyons, and why the universe pushes back.
What If Humanity Never Masters Fusion?
https://t.co/kBquydHjZl
What if fusion power never becomes practical? Humanity still has solar, fission, storage, beamed power, and enough known physics to build a spacefaring future.
The only site that is reporting a live node count is Luke Dashr's site (@LukeDashjr), but he includes all nodes, whether port 8333 is open or not. So his number of reported nodes is ~90,000.
FYI. There seems to be an issue with Bitcoin node tracking that started in March 2026 and has gotten worse. The main site most other Bitcoin websites were relying on, https://t.co/091yi8KRoh, has been offline for a while and their API tools other sites used are also frozen.
The number of reachable nodes hasn't updated since about April 28th, 2026. All sites, including Clark Moody's dashboard, have not changed their reported reachable node count since that date.
.@mattkratter https://t.co/FZaTtL0rYs has gone offline and many websites that track the number of Bitcoin nodes are frozen since about the end of April 2026. Any word what happened? That site provided figures for many other sites and there is now a data vacuum.
Magnetic Monopoles & Magmatter - The Strongest Material That Might Exist
https://t.co/kiIKwgKt6H
Magnetic monopoles are hypothetical particles with a single magnetic charge — north without south. Predicted by grand unified theories, they may be incredibly massive and could bind together into “magmatter,” an ultra-dense material stronger than anything known in nature.
Interstellar Banking - The Galactic Financial System
https://t.co/Pq50LIEe6d
Interstellar city-states may dominate future space travel, governing the laser highways that connect stars and shape galactic civilization.
The End of Science: What Happens When We Discover Everything?
https://t.co/0Npji2UHTA
Is science nearing its limits? We explore whether humanity could ever run out of discoveries?
