I had a well-known industry provider send me messages similar to this one from two numbers last year. She of all people should know not to do this. I had no idea she knew my (former) client, let alone shared a professional or personal relationship with him (until he forwarded me a legal letter she sent via her lawyer). This has caused me nothing but grief ever since, and I’ve had enough of it. 🤯

I started in this industry with a clear understanding of what I wanted in life, and that was to remain single, work hard and be financially independent. I love my job, but I’m clear on not wanting to date or do romance. I’ve been single for nearly 12 years and intend to stay that way for another 12. You can keep your husband, fiancé, cheating partner, and the lying clients you think are loyal boyfriends. 😩

I’m sick to death of the headaches some people bring into my life, by virtue of just doing my job. My mental and financial health has suffered enough because of my professional dealings with a former client who was charged with committing a heinous crime. Shady former clients, ‘de-facto’ partners and problematic peers: leave me alone. I see through the lies, schemes and BS. 🤡

This will all come out sooner or later.
